A credible record keeps the product identity, batch code, source document, reported result and current status connected. This page explains what EternaGen publishes—and what the public index does not assume.

The public standard
Evidence stays attached to the batch it describes.
EternaGen’s public index is a documentation layer. Its job is to help a visitor connect a labelled material to the information currently available for that batch.
It is not a substitute for the signed source report, a regulatory quality system or an authorization to use the material. When a field is not available, the index should say so plainly.

These steps are sequential because each one depends on the identity established before it.

Identify the material
Record the product name, format, labelled strength and exact batch code without changing the source label.
- 02Batch-linked document
Match the source report
Confirm that the batch or lot identifier on the analytical report matches the material being listed.
- 03Method and result context
Read the analytical context
Retain the reported method, result, units, testing organization and issue date when those fields are supplied.
- 04Published status and scope
Assign a record status
Publish a clear status. Missing information stays missing; it is never replaced with an assumed result or generic verification badge.
- 05Version and amendment trail
Preserve later changes
Corrections, replacement reports and status changes should remain visible through a version note rather than silently overwriting the earlier record.

The source report remains authoritative. The public entry is a readable index of the fields that can be connected without filling gaps.

Record status
“Verified” is not enough.
A useful status explains what is available now and what the visitor should do next.
Under review
Documentation is being checked or completed. No analytical conclusion should be inferred while the record is incomplete.
Superseded
A later document or corrected entry replaced the earlier version. The status should point to the current record.
Not located
The code is not present in the public index. Check the label and contact support before relying on a different batch record.
Certificate scope
Read the result with its limits.
A Certificate of Analysis is most useful when the tested sample, analytical method, result, source and document date appear together.
